What is CRDS? Collision Repair Design Service is an in house service offered through Martin Senour to assist collision facilities achieve the ultimate in workflow efficiency and space utilization.
Who can use CRDS? CRDS is available to all collision repair facilities as well as being available as a discounted program to our A Plus collision partners.
How can you help my business? Each request is reviewed on an individual basis and recommendations are then made to improve your facilities productivity and efficiency. CRDS can assist customers who are building new facilities, adding onto an existing facility, or wanting to make their existing facility more productive.
What will I receive from CRDS? A set of blueprints will be presented to you including floor plans of your facility with recommended equipment in place. CRDS takes into consideration the needs of the entire facility and not just the paint shop area.
What is the fee for this service? The CRDS fee for the design and layout is a one time $895 flat fee. We work together with you to develop the best possible solution for your facility.
What is the lead-time for this service? CRDS requires a 6-8 week lead-time to develop and return customized layouts to you. Please notify us if other specific time frames are needed.
Will you work with my architectural firm? Yes, CRDS uses the same architectural drawing software that most architects use today allowing us to pass drawing information electronically to one another. Most architectural firms are not familiar with the needs of a collision facility and welcome our involvement.
What does CRDS need to begin the process? A commitment letter and questionnaire are on-line for you to easily complete. Some questions may not be applicable to your facility but understand that this questionnaire is for all customers requesting the service. Please fill in as much information as possible so we can accurately assess your needs.
How do you know what our facility looks like? To begin the design and layout process, CRDS requires information on the physical dimensions of your property, where the facility is located on that property, locations of overhead doors, man doors and permanent structures (restrooms, floor drains, offices, columns). Existing blueprints will be returned to you or if you prefer a grid is available to assist in drawing your facility. Please contact CRDS if you need any of these supplies.
Can I send in photos? Digital photos and/or videos may be submitted as additional resources to aid the design process. It is beneficial to have accurate information to begin the process so we can develop a viable solution for your collision business.
