IPC21 GreenCert®

IPC21 2.1 VOC IP Process™ Clearcoats are Air-dry clearcoats that do not require the use of a high temperature bake cycle to cure. The clearcoats are sandable in 20 minutes at 75 degrees Farenheit with no bake cycle. This clearcoat allow for customers to use less energy, paint more cars, and improve profitability.

Product Attributes:

• No flash time between coats (Wet on wet application)
• Sand and buff in 20 minutes at 75 degrees - no bake cycle required.
• Dust free in 8 minutes which results in more cars through repair process per day.
• Turning off the heat to the booth saves on natural gas bills and lowers the customers carbon footprint- also allows for seperate IP Process™ Center outside the booth.
• Possible reduction of greenhouse gas fees payable to San Francisco Bay area.

GreenCert® Criteria:

• Products that offer premium product performance.
• Products that are free from hexavalent chromium, cadmium, and lead hazards.
• Products that reduce energy consumption and increase productivity or meet or exceed the European Union Solvent Directive for Automotive Refinish Coatings, or, If a product is North America Designation only, product meets South Coast Air Quality Management District rule 1151.
