Vortex GreenCert®

VORTEX® Waterborne Basecoat was launched in North America in 2007 as a 3.5 VOC basecoat system to meet the VOC regulations for the South Coast Air Quality Management District rule 1151 in California and Canada.

Product Attributes:

• Up to 96% reduction in VOC compaired to solvent-borne coatings.
• Reduces hazardous waste.
• Reduces flamability hazards associated with solvent-borne coatings.
• Less product needed to cover same area as solvent-borne coatings (greater pigment load equals less coats to cover and reduces waste)

• Products that offer premium product performance.
• Products that are free from hexavalent chromium, cadmium, and lead hazards.
• Products that reduce energy consumption and increase productivity or meet or exceed the European Union Solvent Directive for Automotive Refinish Coatings, or, If a product is North America Designation only, product meets South Coast Air Quality Management District rule 1151.
