Course Cost:  $150.00

Overview:

This course will inform each student of updates in new procedures as well as the fundamentals and fine details of color adjustment and blending.  The class content will cover a combination of procedures and theory, as well as actual hands on application for practical shop experience.

Lunch will be provided each day.  Hours are 8:30-4:30 daily with dismissal by 4:00 on the final day.  All class participants will receive Personal Safety Equipment and a Color Adjustment Manual for use and future reference.

• OEM finishes & repair decisions
• Color adjustment procedures
• Computer formula retrieval
• Application & blending techniques
• Tinted undercoats & specialized clears
• Equipment (including HVLP, shortwave infra-red)
• Color theory
• Color library maintenance
• Analysis of formula

Student Qualification:

This course is designed for the fleet refinish technician or a paint specialist requiring proficiency in color mixing and color adjustment.
