FLEET REFINISHING
Course Length: 3 Days
Course Cost: $200.00
Overview:
The O.E.M. Fleet Course will introduce each student to the fundamentals and fine details of fleet refinishing. Emphasis will be placed on product usage, mixing, application and what system and products are right for your refinishing needs.
Lunches will be provided each day. Hours are 8:30 - 4:30 daily with dismissal by 3:00 on the final day. All class participants will receive Personal Safety Equipment and a Fleet Training Manual for use and future reference.
Course Content:
- Safety procedures and equipment
- Review current government regulations
- Surface preparation & corrosion protection
- Undercoat systems, options & application
- Equipment (including HVLP, short wave infra-red)
- Future V.O.C. legislation
- Paint coating technology
- Product selection for production
- Topcoat systems, options & application
Student Qualification:
This course is designed for fleet refinishers interested in knowing more about products, procedures and regulations that affect the fleet refinisher. |
