BEST DEMONSTRATED PRACTICES

Overview:
This course is designed to provide participants with the skills, information and tools necessary to utilize Best Demonstrated Practices to increase productivity and quality. Lunch will be provided each day. Hours are 8:30 - 4:30, with dismissal at 3:00pm the last day of class. All class participants will receive Personal Safety Equipment, a Product Training Manual for use in class and for future reference and a Painter Certification Card which is valid for 2 years.
The course presentation will use written materials, group discussions, instructor demonstrations and hands-on exercises to develop skills necessary to understand and implement Best Demonstrated Practices into the participants daily operations. The ultimate goal of the course will be to maximize productivity and quality, while reducing re-dos and material costs.

- Detailed examination of all available BDP´s
- Premium undercoat selection
- Tec Interior
- Flexible parts refinishing
- OEM finishes & repair decisions
- Restoring corrision protection
- Tec Base B/C
- Tec One HPU S/S
- Blending procedures
- Production tips
- Equipment (including HVLP, short wave infra-red)
Student Qualification:
The course is designed for Refinish Technicians or Production Managers interested in implementing BDP´s or those working in shops on our Lifetime Guarantee Program. |
